REVIT TECHNICIAN

In this role, you will leverage expert knowledge in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks to lead 3D modeling and clash detection efforts. You will ensure seamless MEP and structural coordination from planning to completion, maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and digital precision.
The duties and responsibilities of the REVIT TECHNICIAN INCLUDE:
Technical Detailing: Ability to translate architectural concepts into detailed construction drawings (sections, floor plans, and schedules).
MEP Coordination: Understanding how Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems integrate within a Revit model.
Standards Compliance: Knowledge of international and local Ghanaian building codes and BIM standards.
Data Management: Skill in extracting accurate Quantities (QA/QS support) directly from the Revit model to assist our QA/QS Officers.
Team Collaboration: Must be able to work closely with MEP Managers and Project Managers to resolve design conflicts before they reach the site.
Problem Solving: Ability to identify structural inconsistencies in the digital model to save costs and prevent delays during physical execution.
SOME REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSTION INCLUDE:
Minimum: Higher National Diploma (HND) or Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Architectural Technology, or a related Built Environment discipline.
Preferred: Specialized certification in BIM Management or Revit Professional Certification from Autodesk.
General: 2–5 years of experience in a BIM-focused role within the construction or architectural industry.
Project Specific: Experience in high-end residential (Villas) or large-scale public infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
Autodesk Revit (Expert): Deep knowledge of family creation, worksharing, template management, and complex 3D modeling.
AutoCAD: Proficiency in 2D drafting for legacy drawings and site plan adjustments.
Navisworks: Capability to perform clash detection (identifying where MEP systems might hit structural beams), which is critical for our complex villa and public-sector projects.
Base Salary: In a bank account you prefer.
